Donation of Goods

You can help ASAC by donating the following household items that are in good condition:

Linens: twin sheets, comforters, blankets, bath and wash cloths (new or slightly used)
Furniture: twin bedframes, dressers, end tables, kitchen tables and chairs, lamps and non-upholstered sofas and chairs ( new or slightly used)
Houseware: pots and pans, dishes, vacuums, dishes, plastic glasses, eating utensils, laundry and dish soap, trash bags and small kitchen appliances (new or slightly used)
Personal Care Items: shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, tooth brushes, tooth paste, facial and bath soap, body wash, feminine products and lotions (new; travel and regular size)
School Supplies and Craft Items: ruled paper, notebooks, backpacks, folders, crayons, markers, scissors, rulers, pencils, pens, erasers, glue sticks, colored paper, fabric pieces, yarn, etc. (new)
Baby  Items: diapers, baby bottles, baby shampoo, baby powder, etc. (new)

Donation of Money

Celebrate a friend or family member or honor the memory of a loved one by making a memorial or tribute gift. Complete the Donate Form and email to or mail to ASAC at 3601 16th Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.

You may designate that your contribution be used for a specific program, purpose or service location. Contact us to inquire about special campaigns

ASAC is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit agency. All cash and in-kind donations are tax deductible. We will provide a receipt for tax purposes for any donation.
